The Portland Police Dept. Needs Your Help In Shaw’s Robbery

The Portland Police Department is asking for help to identify a man who robbed the Shaw's supermarket on Auburn St. in Portland Sunday afternoon.

The robber claimed to have a gun, but he never showed one. After robbing the Northgate Shaw's store for an undisclosed amount of money, he sprinted through a parking lot across the street, most likely getting into a vehicle parked behind Bath Savings Bank on Washington Ave. If you live in that area the Portland P.D. would like you to check any security camera footage that you have. Your Ring camera could lead to his capture.

The robber was wearing typical bad-guy apparel, so details are limited. The robber was a male wearing gloves, sunglasses, a light colored baseball hat, light colored shoes, dark hooded sweatshirt and a blue medical mask.

There were customers and employees present but nobody was hurt.
