Happy 66th Birthday to the quiet rock genius of Aerosmith, guitarist Brad Whitford! He was born February 23, 1952 in Winchester, Massachusetts. It's also pretty freakin' cool that I share my arrival on the planet with him...15 years later. HBD2ME2

While Joe Perry may get the most attention for guitar playing in Aerosmith, let’s not forget that Brad plays the lead part on Back in the Saddle. He also co-wrote the smash Last Child as well as some of Aerosmith’s heaviest stuff , Nobody’s Fault and Round and Round.

Brad Whitford has been in the band since he replaced original guitarist, Ray Tabano in 1971. Yep, he’s a pretty significant badass axeman who's come up with some very classic riffs.
