Tonight’s WBLM Mini-Concert
17 years ago today, Def Leppard returned to Portland for a sold-out show at the Civic Center. This was a tour in support of their 1999 release, Euphoria. Maybe you remember BLM playing the tracks Promises and Paper Sun. The sound of Euphoria was a reminiscent of their giant classics, Pyromania and Hysteria and for this writer was the last true Def Lep record until the release of their latest self-titled album last October.
February 15, 2000 felt like a concert night in the Eighties and we loved it! Opening the show was the legendary Joan Jett, sportin’ a shaved head.
