A sluggish first half cost the Boston Celtics in Atlanta last night as a second half comeback came up short. The Hawks win this one  123-116.

A night after getting whipped by the Cavs, the Celtics gave up 71 first half points to the Hawks and trailed by 16 at halftime.

They did come back and make a game of it in the second half but never could turn the scoreboard.

Paul Millsap had 26 points to lead Atlanta.

Isaiah Thomas led the C's with 35. Jae Crowder had 24.

The Celtics again got out rebounded 52-38.

Three games left for the (50-29) Celtics - at Charlotte, then home games vs Brooklyn and Milwaukee.
