VP Mike Pence Visiting Dysart’s for First Ever Maine Visit Today

Today at 11:30 this morning, the Vice President will be at Dysart’s up in Hermon.

According to the Bangor Daily News, this is his first time in Maine.

President Donald Trump has been to Maine. He was here back in June for his first trip this year. In 2016, President Trump came to Maine five times during his 2016 campaign.

Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump and even Laura Trump (Don Jr's wife) have all been in Maine this year.

Right now it appears that President Trump is fighting with incumbent Senator Susan Collins, the republican senior senator in a tight re-election fight, according to the BDN. The newspaper reported that Trump tweeted Friday that she was "not worth the work," and Collins has said that she won't be voting for Trump's latest nominee for the Supreme Court.

The upcoming election could break records in several categories. It is on pace to be the largest absentee voting in the country and here in Maine. And it is on pace to also (according to polling) have the highest voter turn out...ever.
