WATCH: Beautiful Beasts of Burden at Pineland Farms

Living in Westbrook the past 20 years, I've been fortunate to see the spectacular horses at Race Me Stables on East Bridge Street on almost a daily basis. My family and I especially like the white one, as we imagined it was Gandalf's mighty steed. Passersby can often be seen stopping to pet these beauties and maybe even treat them to some tasty carrots. Another fantastic place to see horses is at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. According to their Facebook page, two new summer residents have arrived! They are draft horses named Barney and Jim. These big guys are awesome and it would be so great to get there and meet them soon. In the meantime, fall in love with them in this great video.
