As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Perhaps that's one of the reasons Brea Lu Cafe has continued to thrive over the course of many years despite ownership changes, location changes, a pandemic, and even a restaurant fire. More changes appear to be on the way for the venerable brunch spot, as a large "For Lease" sign recently popped up at their current location. Brea Lu cleared up the confusion, stating their lease was set to expire shortly and they would have a new home to share with their fans.

Shared on Facebook by Brea Lu, that new home won't be very far from their current one. Brea Lu will be moving to 100 Larrabee Road, a large building that is home to several other businesses including Advance Auto Parts, Sherwin Williams Paints, Sim City Golf, and Phoever Maine. But there's another twist to Brea Lu's move that should excite longtime fans of the popular brunch restaurant.

The space at 100 Larrabee Road will be much larger than their current setting. The increased space will allow for more tables during brunch service (and less wait times), but will also allow Brea Lu to expand their bakery offerings for dine-in or takeout. There will also be more available parking on premises for patrons. Brea Lu hopes their proximity to Rock Row (directly across the street) will help attract some new customers as well.
