With 2020 being the year of the Maine Bicentennial, it's an awful good idea to brush up on some of our knowledge of the magnificent people, places and things that make our state the best.

Since the series debuted in August, Troy and Mark have reported from Portland Head LightThe Desert of MaineThe Moxie Store in Lisbon FallsB & M Baked Beans in Portland and the Paul Bunyan statue in Bangor.

Our favorite way to learn about something is with some laughs.

That is what we will do with the latest installment in the 'Welcome to Maine' video series.

This time our favorite dubbahs are celebrating the Halloween season here in the Pine Tree State with a trip to Stephen King's house.

Watch as Troy tells us everything we ever wanted to know about Maine's most famous resident and Mark simply concurs with his "Yuhts." All that and a tap in the nuts to wrap things up.

Well done boys and thank you for the "nips of Fiyahball and head-bangin' to WBLM" reference. It's was really great that Stephen King included WBLM in his book, Skeleton Crew back in 1985 and now this honor.

This series need to be the official video campaign for the Maine Office of Tourism. We hope the officials in Augusta are paying attention.

Future destinations that 'Troy' and 'Mark' plan on visiting include, The Lobster Pound, LL Bean and more of the great places that call Maine home.

Ian Stuart and James Theberge have performed together around the state in The Maine Comedy All Stars shows.

The series is written, directed and edited by Ian. Our monster hunting buddy Bill Brock is behind the camera. Although Ian sent me a message the other day saying, "We still work with Bill on occasion, but because he's been out of state we've been using a fellow comic, Josh Marquis to film."

Ian and James can be found performing live stand up comedy for social distanced audiences at Stroudwater Distillery on Thompson's Point in Portland. The shows are on Thursdays at 7pm.
