Wicked Funny: Another ‘Welcome To Maine’ Halloween
With 2020 being the year of the Maine Bicentennial, it's an awful good idea to brush up on some of our knowledge of the magnificent people, places and things that make our state the best.
Since the series debuted in August, Troy and Mark have hilariously reported from Portland Head Light, The Desert of Maine, The Moxie Store in Lisbon Falls, B & M Baked Beans in Portland and the Paul Bunyan statue in Bangor.
Last week our favorite Maine dubbahs, Troy and Mark decided to celebrate the scary season here in the Pine Tree State with a trip to Stephen King's house.
With just a couple days until the spookiest day of the year, the boys have a new Halloween episode of 'Welcome to Maine' from a site where we can learn about monsters.
For years, this wonderful place for believers that "the truth is out there" had a home on Congress Street. Now, it is located on Thompson's Point.
It's the International Cryptozoology Museum, where folks can view exhibits and learn about the strange creatures of folklore traditions. You know, Bigfoot and stuff.
Watch as Troy tells us everything we ever wanted to know about mythical creatures a at Maine's world famous monstah museum. Mark responds to all Troy's fun facts with his affirming "Yuhts." And how does he keep those crazy eyes going the whole time? Just brilliant. All that and Mark falls for a signature nut tap at the end once again. You'd think he'd see 'em comin by now.
Future destinations that Troy and Mark plan on visiting include, The Lobster Pound, LL Bean and more of the great places that call Maine home.
Ian Stuart/"Mark" and James Theberge/"Troy" have performed together around the state in The Maine Comedy All Stars shows.
The series is written, directed and edited by Ian.
