It's almost ready for you!

The new family balloon wheel is almost up and running. It's gorgeous and brand new. It's not an old ride with a new paint job, it's brand new and it will replace the 40-plus-year-old Ferris Wheel at York's. It's almost ready for you to hop on and get a great view of the park.

York’s Wild Kingdom, in York Beach, Maine, really does have something for the little ones and the big ones who drove there. Over 200,000 people go to York's Wild Kingdom every year. They have such sweet wild animals from around the world. In fact, they just got a new young female tiger that needed a name.

York’s Wild Kingdom held a naming contest (the winner got 4 season passes to York's Wild Kingdom). The winning name was:

Moxy

You can thank her orange and black coloring and that tongue for the name. The different spelling was a twist so you know it's the tiger and not the Maine drink we're talking about.

Now all York's Wild Kingdom needs are a few good sunny days! Too often they have had to close the ride part of the park down because of the weather!

We agree York's! If you find yourself in Southern Maine on a non-rainy day, grab the kids and have the best time ever. There really is something for everyone including mini-golf and plenty to eat.
