WICKED COOL: Check Out This Up-Close Maine Loon Encounter

When my wife Sherry and I were off for vacation the past couple weeks, we were fortunate to visit with our pals Brian and Julie at their place on Cobbossee upta Litchfield.

While we were there, they treated us to a great cruise on their pontoon that included a loon sighting. Gotta love "the loons Norman, the loons"! They never fail to make us ooh and aah.

It was certainly great to see, but not nearly as impressive as this recent Maine loon encounter. The exciting moment was captured on video and posted to Facebook by Vincent Marzilli of Portland.
