As the state with more breweries per capita than any other in the country, it is only right that Maine is filled with beer-lovers.

Whether cracking Bud on a boat or testing a flight at a craft brewery, we Mainers love a cold one.

If this sounds like you then you are in for a treat at the end of this month.

Mast Landing’s Wavy Days Festival

For the first time, Mast Landing is hosting a beer festival which will be a weekend-long event centered around, well, beer. The main focus of the event will be Saturday, July 23 from 12 to 4 p.m., which is what I’m here to tell you all about.

Located at the infield of the former Scarborough Downs Racetrack in Scarborough, Maine, will be a beer fest with local food vendors, breweries from around the country, games, music, and one hell of a good time.

You can learn about the whole weekend on the Wavy Days Fest website and you can buy your ticket for Saturday’s festival right on Eventbrite. And trust me, you’re going to want to buy this ticket…

What does the ticket get you? Four hours of unlimited beer pours from more than 40 breweries from around the country. This is a 21+ event, no pets are allowed, and DDs can buy a ticket for only 10 bucks and get food and non-alcoholic drinks for no extra charge.

Sound like an event that tickles your fancy? Me too. I’ll see you there.
