Days like today are what must have inspired the phrase "dead of winter." This morning across Maine saw temperatures well below zero on what may end up being the coldest day of the year.

It was so cold that Portland had to cancel school because of its fleet of school buses suffered from frozen fuel lines. But deep down we know there are much better and warmer days ahead and to prove this check out this aerial drone video created by PortlandOldPort.com last summer.

You will once again see green grass, trees full of summer leaves, people walking around in shorts and sandals, boats docked in Portland Harbor and Portland Head Light in nearby Cape Elizabeth. This video is so impressive you can almost feel the warm summer breeze and bright sunshine on your face.
