How Likely is Maine to Survive an Alien Invasion?

With all the talk about artificial intelligence, A.I., and how it will replace lots of jobs. Jobs that we need, don’t we?

As the field of careers or professions tightens up, what if we end up with a lot fewer jobs, for a lot more people?

A.I. is here and here to stay. But maybe we need to hold off on it replacing people’s jobs.

A.I. might take over the world someday. But for a minute let's think of a previous threat of who was going to take over the world.

Aliens.

They were coming from who knows where and they were going to rule the world. There are some who think they have landed and are here already.

But what if we had a full-out Alien attack on Earth

We might well all be wiped out.

Unless the aliens that showed up were movie or t.v. type aliens. Like Alf. Or E.T.

If they were mean aliens with the purpose of talking over America, would there be places that were ‘safer’ to be than other areas of the country?

Well, of course, someone has done a study about this.

The states most and least likely to survive an Alien invasion

Oh oh, better hope for Alf and E.T.

The study considered landscape and terrain, defense, science and medical resources, and food and beverage manufacturing.

The safest place to be during an Alien invasion: Virginia.

The lowest chance of survival is Nevada. Home to Area 51 and people that often claim to see UFOs and aliens.

We’re not much better off than Nevada. Maine came 9^th most doomed state in America.

Probably because of our remoteness, and not a lot of manufacturing.

So if A.I. doesn’t get us, it looks like Aliens will. Good luck to us all.
