Arcadia National Bar Is Moving Into Port City Music Hall But It Needs Your Help

It has been an incredibly rough year for some of the true gems in Portland like Arcadia National Bar. The friendly little joint has been home to memories for so many Portlanders, from a simple night of pinball or Street Fighter II to an all-out Skeeball tournament of champions. Arcadia managed to achieve what so many places are after, becoming part of the fabric of the community. Unfortunately, pandemic restrictions have forced Arcadia to keep their doors closed for nearly an entire year. So that means changes and in the case of Arcadia National Bar, a change may very well bring hope.

Arcadia plans to move into the space vacated by another Portland favorite, Port City Music Hall. While the real estate transaction is official, Arcadia is going to need crowdfunding to turn a much larger space into a functioning (and money making) venture, otherwise the move will be for naught. The plan to give Portlanders a much larger room to roam, eat, drink and of course play all of their favorite classic arcade games, pinball, skeeball and whatever else Arcadia can outfit the space with, which may include live performances in the future. That will cost money, and without any tangible income rolling in, Arcadia is hoping their loyal patrons may be able to help.

If they can reach their goal, Arcadia can be fitted and designed to match the owners dream. In reality, the former concert space will take months to renovate, but that may perfectly coincide with restrictions on gatherings being limited and bars being able to once again welcome people back into their establishments.
