Happy Birthday today to Paul Daniel Frehley. Born on April 27, 1951 and raised in the Bronx, Paul is of course famous for being the original lead guitarist and founding member of the classic line-up of Kiss.

The Kiss Army knows him as Ace. His Kiss character featuring silver lightning bolt makeup around his eyes, was the “Spaceman” from 1973 to 1982.

He was back in Kiss for their ridiculously huge reunion tour in 1996 and remained a member until 2002 on their “Farewell” tour. Ace Frehley is 70 years old today.

Here's our favorite solo tune from Ace performed at the Brooklyn Bridge in 1996.

Let's have a laugh with Ace. Check out the short-lived and now classic Dunkin Donuts Iced Latte commercial. It features Ace in the boardroom for an outrageous presentation.

He's plugged in with a stack of speakers behind him and of course there's a little guitar pyro.

"I'll give ya the P & L statement!"

Alright, alright...we just can't help ourselves. Let's relive some Kisstory for Ace's 70th with this killer footage from 1979 in Portland Maine on the Dynasty tour.
