Maine fans of the long-running reality series Big Brother on CBS have probably imagined what it might be like to be a contestant on the hit show with the chance at $500,000.

Now, here comes your opportunity to try out for it.

Do you think you could tolerate living with complete strangers while always being watched by cameras and in isolation from the outside world?

If this sounds like a challenge you're up for, an open casting call for Big Brother is coming to Portland, Maine on Thursday, March 12, 2020. It will be happening at the CBS 13 studios at 81 Northport Drive.

"The line will form outside the CBS 13 studios in Portland and interviews will begin promptly at 4 p.m. Interviews will be conducted with one of the casting directors flying in from California to host the Open Call. There is nothing special you need to bring to the audition – just a good attitude. Everyone in line before 7 p.m. is guaranteed an interview."

Also very important to note from the WGME article,

"There’s never been a contestant from Maine in the house."

Maine is probably more popular than ever these days. Maybe somebody like Uncle Rick from the Big Apple will get in, that would be some wicked.
