Congdon’s Food Truck Park In Wells To Reopen In June
As places in Maine slowly begin the reopening process, one very popular destination in Wells has an opening date and a new set of precautions for the summer of 2020. That would be Congdon's After Dark, the rotating food truck festival that draws in locals and tourists alike.
Shared on Facebook, Congdon's announced that the food truck park would reopen on June 4th. There will be some noticeable differences at the park than from years past. Some of those differences include the layout. Congdon's is changing the layout to maximize social distancing while still offering visitors seating. Additionally, Congdon's will install sanitation stations throughout the park to ease any germ-related stress while visiting. Lastly, Congdon's plans to have more staff on-site for extra cleaning and other measures to keep everyone happy and safe.
If you've never visited, Condon's After Dark is a gathering of food trucks next door to the world famous Congdon's Doughnuts in Wells. The food trucks are often different from week-to-week, giving people a reason to come back and try something new often. Not only is there a great selection of options from food trucks, but there's also a beer garden for that perfect sip during happy hour.
Congdon's After Dark plans to update their Facebook page with additional information in the coming days/weeks.
