LOOK: Crazy-Strong Maine Winds Wreck Sugarloaf Tower

Holy crap! We nearly lost the storm door as we were letting our dogs in from a lil sniff n whiz last night. That wind was some serious business here in Maine. There were powerful gusts over 50 mph in spots on the coast. So no wonder the glass storm door came close being ripped from the hinges...right?

Our front door slamming in the wind against the railing was really no biggie though. Check out what the crazy-strong wind did to a communications tower on top of Sugarloaf Mountain. What an incredible reminder of the power and fury of a Maine winter this is. Friggin' bent right ovah like a scene from War of the Worlds!
