First Lady Jill Biden Will Be Visiting Maine This Week
No matter where you stand politically, it is an honor for the First Lady to visit our state.
Special guest Jill Biden will be coming to Maine this very week as part of the Biden-Harris administration’s Investing in America Tour. As shared by News Center Maine, the First Lady will be here in Maine and Vermont on Wednesday, April 5, but the location has not yet been shared.
While the location has not yet been disclosed, we do know that she will be visiting a community college somewhere in the state. My personal guess is Southern Maine Community College but I have no basis behind this thought.
Jill Biden will be speaking about the importance of career-connected learning as well as highlighting workforce training programs and why we should be investing in these programs. As part of her speech, she will highlight the benefits of President Joe Biden’s economic policies and how they positively affect hard-working Americans all across the country.
As part of the Investing in America Tour, President Biden, Vice President Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, members of the Cabinet, and senior White House officials will visit over 20 states and Maine is fortunate to be included in that list.
The same News Center Maine article shares that Maine actually has a special place in Jill Biden’s heart and she says some states just have something special and Maine is one of those places.
That’s just how people feel when they visit Maine; you really have to experience it to believe it. We really do have something special going on here.
Anyway, the odds of you actually seeing Jill Biden are pretty slim unless you are the lucky bunch at the community college she’s speaking at, but she will be somewhere in the state this coming Wednesday.
