Let’s Help the Sky High Maine Drone Get Airborne Again

We received word this week that our friend Russell at Sky High Maine photography had his drone crash this past week.

Sky High Maine does amazing drone video and they are gracious enough to allow us to share those with you on our website. The least we could do was to help get the word out about the crash and the fundraiser to help buy a new drone.

The drone videos give us a perspective of Maine that we've never seen before and for that, we thank Russell and hope he is airborne soon!

I regret to inform everyone that yesterday, I crashed the drone and it is beyond repair. I would love to get a new one, but I'm dealing with some major changes in my life, and I just simply cannot afford a new one at this time. I hope to be back in the air eventually, but I have no idea if, how, or when I'll be able to afford that. A suitable replacement will cost about $1500. I appreciate all the positive feedback I've received from all of you over the last few years of doing this. I look forward to the day I can post more. We have a huge list of suggested flights we meant to accomplish this year, but life got in the way. Until then, I wish you all good luck, and peace! Russell
