Listen to Scary Stories in a Dark Cemetery on Munjoy Hill

You can take a walk through Portland's historic Eastern Cemetery and listen to 5 chilling storytellers this week. 'Walk Among the Shadows' has returned for the Halloween season. Imagine the fright of hearing terrifying tales steeped in the history of Munjoy Hill and you're right there in the burial ground that is normally not open to the public. The first run happened last weekend. If you dare to be there, it runs again Thursday October 26 through Sunday October 29.

There are 4 groups every night at 6:30, 6:50, 7:10, and 7:30. On Sunday it starts a bit earlier (that's okay, so does the darkness these days) at 5:30, 5:50, 6:10, and 6:30. Tickets are $10 for adults, and just $5 for children 12 and under.
