So it looks like plans are in the works for Maine Schools to have in-person Graduations! This must be excellent news for students and parents who had worries about missing out on the memory of walking across that stage. According to the Bangor Daily News, the ceremonies will be limited to 50 people overall, which means that there could be multiple mini graduations from the same school. Other districts are looking into drive through graduations as well.

Yesterday Oxford Hills announced that they are doing their commencement at the Bridgton Twin Drive-In. The restrictions of the social distance guidelines will still be in place for students and parents as Brewer High School Principal Brent Slowikowski put it, "No pandemic can overshadow the pride and love we feel for our seniors." From the progress and the ideas coming from different districts, there is no doubt his education colleagues feel the same way.
