New Crew Member At NWS In Gray Built A Snowman Yesterday
Yesterday's storm brought us the kind of snow I really get mad at. Sure, it looked pretty and fluffy on the trees. But when I went out to shovel the driveway I quickly learned that this round of the white stuff was that heavy, sticky stuff.
It was no fun lifting that. However this is the kind of snow we were wicked pumped for growing up in Maine. It's the perfect consistency for forming snowballs, making forts, and building snowmen.
Building a snowman is exactly what a new member of the team at the National Weather Service in Gray did yesterday. Gotta love that the enthusiasm for winter storms goes beyond predicting snowfall and brings out the kid in this weather pro. Nice job, bub!
