OOB Police On The Hunt For Suspect Who Set Fire To Portable Toilets
Old Orchard Beach Police are asking for help finding an arson suspect who set fire to a couple portable toilets in Old Orchard Beach on Friday afternoon.
According to the Old Orchard Beach Police press release, around 4:45 on Friday afternoon police and the OOB fire Department responded to a call of portable toilets on fire at Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of First and Heath streets.
A witness described a white man, about 5 feet nine inches tall and 180 pounds with a shaved head, wearing black and white sneakers, black pants, a grey shirt, a desert camouflage jacket and a red backpack running away from the scene.
Police say a man matching that description was seen on video surveillance footage setting the portable toilets on fire and leaving the area.
No one was hurt and the fires were quickly extinguished.
