Oxford Hills Festival Of Trees & Christmas Parade Return For 2021
Christmas is right around the corner, only a mere few months away.
After the pandemic last year, it changed longtime family holiday traditions that have been around for decades. And speaking of decades, as much as it feels like decades, get excited because there are only a few more months until we're able to celebrate with our loved ones. After what seems like one (almost 2) of the craziest years most of us have lived, it's exciting to see communities bring back festive events.
According to the Lewiston Sun Journal, Oxford Hills is one of Maine's most recent towns to bring back its annual holiday festivities. The event will kick off Thanksgiving weekend with the Christmas Parde happening on November 27th, and the festival of trees will run thru November 28th.
Anyone who would like to participate in the Festival of Trees can sign up to donate a decorated tree and gifts to go under it. There is no admission fee; however, there is a limit on the number of trees accepted, and entries will be capped at 50 trees.
