As anticipation builds toward the Nov. 11 release of Rush's 'R40' Blu-ray/DVD box set, a previously unreleased video of the group performing their song 'The Loser' has been released. It follows last week's peek at 'I've Been Running.' You can view the video above.

Radio.com premiered the video, which features Rush's original lineup of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and drummer John Rutsey. The performance was filmed at the Laura Secord Secondary School in St. Catharines, Ontario, in 1974, as part of a televised concert that was one of the group's earliest shows to be captured by camera.

Also included among the previously unreleased material in the upcoming box are five songs from a 1976 concert, a performance of 'Lock and Key' from the 'Hold Your Fire' tour and an entire seven-part version of '2112' filmed in 1997, as well as footage from the group's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a couple years ago.

In addition to the unreleased footage, 'R40' includes the previously released concert films from the '00s: ‘Rush in Rio’ (2003), ‘Snakes & Arrows Live’ (2008), ‘R30′ (2009), ‘Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland‘ and 2013's ‘Clockwork Angels Tour.‘

Lifeson recently admitted that seeing some of the previously unreleased footage took him by surprise. But the guitarist wondered if this is it for the rare material, at least video that looks this good. “There might be some tapes lying around, but I can’t imagine what sort of shape they’re in, 40-plus years later,” he says. “We never thought about hanging on to that stuff back then. You think of something new and you say, ‘Forget about that old crap.’"
