Should You Help Kids With Their Math Homework?

Back to school means back to the dining room table to help with homework! That is unless you happen to hate math. In that case, experts say to stay away! The University of Chicago did a study and found that parents can transfer their math anxiety to their kids! Kids whose parents hate math, but still tried to help, did worse than the kids that were just left alone. If you have always hated math, don't pass it on to your kids. Keep your distance and they'll do fine. Well intentioned efforts can backfire!
