It's a long standing tradition for the winning Super Bowl team to visit the White House, today our New England Patriots will make their fifth trip. But not all of the players are going. Among those sitting it out are McCourty, Long, Blount, Hightower, Branch and Bennett.

This is a video featuring Chris Long and Devin McCourty explaining why they are skipping the White House visit:

Athletes have become more vocal about their politics. Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Pats owner Robert Kraft are all big supporters of President Trump. In fact, Tom stayed home in 2015 when the Patriots visited Barack Obama at the White House after winning against the Seattle Seahawks. Tom is also supporting his team mates choice to do the same.

If you were given the opportunity to visit Trump at the White House, would you go?
