For every rainy day since 1987, the WBLM Morning Show has played the silly, fishy pun-filled song "Wet Dream." The man that wrote and performed that song has died. Kip Addotta was 75. This clever comedian appeared frequently on The Tonite Show with Johnny Carson, The Midnight Special, Don Kirshner's Rock Concert and a bunch of other TV shows in the '70s and '80s.  We discovered from the old Dr. Demento Show that used to air Sunday nights on WBLM.

The experts on the Blimp Weather Deck estimate there have been over 4000 rainy days in Maine since 1987...thats's 4000 spins of Wet Dream! Thanks for all the laughs (and groans), Kip. You will forever be part of the Blimp!

Here's Kip's other big "hit"....Life in the Slaw Lane. Hilarious!
