According to MILB.com, The Portland Seadogs are hosting a job fair and you could land a wicked fun gig for the baseball season.

Print out this job application, fill it out and bring it to Hadlock Field on Friday, March 13th from noon to 4p. There will be representatives available to answer your questions about the many part-time seasonal positions that they have to fill.

The Portland Seadogs rock Hadlock all summer long, providing affordable family entertainment, Sea Dog Biscuits and cold beers.

Someone has to make the Fried Dough Burgers and Lobster Popcorn, it might as well be you bringing the love to the people. Concession positions include: Sky Box Waitstaff, Fry-Grill Cook, Concession Stand Workers and Beer Pourers.

Other postions to consider: Ticket Operations, Souvenirs, Camera Operators and Bat Boys. Yes, you could make a childhood dream come true and be a bat boy or bat girl. That's not the same as being Bat Girl, just so you know.

To land one of these awesome summer jobs you must:

  • Apply in person, they aren't taking phone calls.
  • Be available always. Nights, weekends and your holidays will be dedicated to worshipping Slugger and bringing him ice chips when he's parched. Seriously, this is seasonal so you must be available when they need you.
  • Be 16 by April 16th.
  • Have your completed application with you, it's at the top of the post. Print out some extras for friends that might be interested.

The Portland Sea Dogs are quickly approaching their home opener on April 16th against the Trenton Thunder. This is a great opener to the season as Trenton is an affiliate of the Yankees. Think about all of the Sea Dogs that have been called up to Boston. You never know who you'll meet working at Hadlock for the Portland Sea Dogs.
