Today’s Blimp Time-Hop

28 years ago this week, Whitesnake rocked us in Portland at the Civic Center on their on Liquor & Poker World Tour in support of their album, Slip of the Tongue.

Steve Vai (formerly of the David Lee Roth band) brought his incredible guitar pyrotechnics to the stage with our headliners! We also remember hosting a WBLM live broadcast at Daddy’s Junky Music on Brighton Ave. the afternoon of the show. Bassist Rudy Sarzo and guitarist Adrian Vandenberg stopped by to meet Blimpsters and say hello on the radio. Great guys!
