WATCH: Maine Teens Made A “Protect Nana” Video
With the dangerous idiocy we saw on display last week from spring breakers in Florida not taking coronavirus seriously, young people have gotten a bad rap lately. These Maine kids however, deserve praise for their smart response to the way things are for now.
There is great concern that Generation Z's feelings of invincibility will make them think it's ok to hang out with friends. And since they are out of school for an indefinite period at the moment, the temptation to gather is likely very strong.
Kudos to these Maine teens for meeting the challenge and getting a very important public service message out.
Students from Gorham High School collaborated remotely to create a video with the Maine Department of Education to remind their peers about the importance of social distancing.
