With slippery steps this morning at our house in Westbrook this morning and temps plunging to the teens tomorrow, it's pretty friggin' clear that another Maine winter is headed straight for us.

We're all in for it, so why not laugh it off a bit. We love making sure these guys are in the spotlight when the dreaded cold weather returns.

They call themselves Flooded Cellar and they hail from beautiful Lovell over there on Route 5 in Oxford County.

In the summertime, these locals enjoy the beauty Kezar Lake in the sunshine. The rest of the year is spent either preparing for or enduring another Maine winter just like the rest of us.

This music video is a tribute to all the hardened Yankees like you who bust their asses getting the wood ready.

It's called, Six Cords Shy of a Broken Back and it hilariously laments the "seven month haul" that is winter in Maine.

Living here in the wintertime year after year, we can totally relate to this song. It's a video that could only be done by Mainers. These guys get us, because they are us.

We debuted this on the WBLM Morning show a few years ago. It's become a local classic and it's too good not to bring back again this season.
