Blimpville Legends of Rock Live: Vote for Tom Petty, Crosby Stills and Nash, and Stevie Ray Vaughan
WBLM continues to celebrate its 50th year.
In doing so, we've got another week of Blimpville Legends of Rock Live, and we want you to vote on your favorite.
Cast a vote for one of three legendary concerts that rocked Blimpville below.
This latest matchup is Tom Petty at the Augusta Civic Center in July 1980 against Crosby Stills and Nash at the Merrill Auditorium in July 1997 and Stevie Ray Vaughan at the OOB Ballpark in August 1989.
Make sure to vote because the poll closes Friday at noon.
Then, on Saturday at 6 p.m., the legendary concert with the most votes will be declared the winner, and WBLM will play a full hour of live, in-concert music from that band.
Oh, and if that's not awesome enough, we're going commercial-free for it. Did you hear that? Commercial free!
Who do you think will win? Who do you want to hear?
Don't miss out on voting, and celebrate along with WBLM as we rock out for an epic year 50.
Many of you have been along for this wild and crazy ride. And if you've got stories, you can share them with us right here.
Did you know that the first song played on WBLM was "The Story in Your Eyes" by The Moody Blues?
Here's to another 50 with Maine's classic rock station, the Blimp, 102.9 WBLM. Rock on, Blimpsters. Rock on.
