Candidates and Questions: Here’s What Your Ballot Will Look Like in Maine on Tuesday
Election day is just a few days away! People across the country will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 6th to vote in the congressional midterm elections.
In the state of Maine, we're also voting for Governor, state legislators, and several referendum and bond issue questions.
For Governor, there will be four candidates listed on your ballot, but only three are still running in the race. Alan Caron dropped out last week and endorsed Janet Mills. Of the four candidates, you can only select one for Governor. Ranked Choice Voting will not be used in the 2018 gubernatorial race in Maine.

Do you want to create the Universal Home Care Program to provide home-based assistance to people with disabilities and senior citizens, regardless of income, funded by a new 3.8% tax on individuals and families with Maine wage and adjusted gross income above the amount subject to Social Security taxes, which is $128,400 in 2018?

Do you favor a $30,000,000 bond issue to improve water quality, support the planning and construction of wastewater treatment facilities and assist homeowners whose homes are served by substandard or malfunctioning wastewater treatment systems?
