Check Out This 1985 Alka Seltzer Commercial Filmed In Maine

Up heah we know a thing ah two about cold weathah and the runny friggin' nose that often comes with it. So, the big city advertising folks at made a wicked good choice when they decided to shoot a commercial in Maine featuring locals endorsing Alka Seltzer Plus cold medicine.

Filmed on location in Winter Harbor on the Schoodic Peninsula back in 1985, the commercial has residents Betty Hanscom, Dale Torrey and Linwood Workman in the spotlight with testimonials praising the products effectiveness.

They all did a great job. But our favorite is Dale who says,

"When I take Alka Seltzah Plus. It drains evrything...My head is cleahed right out, beautiful."
