We love southern rock here in Blimpville. That's why we are wicked pumped to announce and incredible night of celebration coming to Maine this summer.

It's the Spirit of the South tour featuring Blackberry Smoke, The Wild Feathers. and The Allman Betts Band.

Rick Diamond

The Allman Betts Band is led by Dickey Betts' son Duane and Gregg Allman's son Devon. The band also includes Berry Oakley Jr., son of original Allman Brothers bass player, Berry Oakley. And as if that wasn't enough to keep it genuine, founding member Jaimoe is in the band too. Jaimoe and Dickey Betts are the only surviving original members from the Allman Brothers Band.

The family musical tradition continues on and comes to the Maine Savings Pavilion at Rock Row in Westbrook on Friday, July 24. That's right a Friday Night of Southern Rock, so excuses on this one. Let's freakin' party, people
