LePage Announces Campaign Kickoff Party in Run for Maine Governor
After much speculation on whether he would run again, fans and supporters of former Maine Governor Paul LePage don't have to wait any longer. The Republican is set to officially toss his hat into the ring for Maine Governor next Wednesday at the Augusta Civic Center.
According to LePage's official Facebook Page, the kickoff party will be held this coming Wednesday from 4:30 - 7:00. Tickets are free and are available and can be obtained by clicking this link while supplies last. The Civic Center will have its concession stands open during the event as well.
LePage, who served two consecutive terms as Maine's Governor from 2010 to 2018 is hoping to limit the current Governor, Janet Mills, to a single term. LePage will be running as a Republican on the ticket while Mills, who hasn't yet announced plans to run again, would run as a Democrat.
