Maine's Legendary Prides Corner Drive-In Opens This Weekend

My wife Sherry and I were cruisin' out 302 in Westbrook to Windham last Friday night. As we went past the sign that reads Prides Corner Drive-In (a legendary roadside Maine landmark for as long as we can remember) we wondered if it would be open this year?

They've been closed various years in the past so, it's always a mystery when the good weather returns as to whether or not they're still operating. We were really hoping so. There's nothing like the summer fun and nostalgia of packin' friends and family into the rig on the weekend for a movie outdoors on the wicked big screen.

And now we can once again! According to the Pride's Corner Drive-In Facebook page, Memorial Day weekend is opening weekend. Woo hoo! It's on! The first nights at the drive-in are hosting two really big ones too. It's a...wait for it...Avengers: End Game and Aladdin double-feature!
