Bon Jovi will play their very first full live show of 2021 later this month. Well, sort of. They won't literally performing at the drive-in. They will however, deliver the experience of seeing them onstage at drive-in theaters and cinemas across the country.

The band announced on their official Facebook page and other social media that the one-night-only concert will be shown all over North America on Saturday evening May 22.

This will be the first time we've seen Jon Bon Jovi perform since he covered The Beatles Here Comes The Sun as part of the Inauguration celebration in January.

This live Bon Jovi experience is part of the Encore Drive-In Nights concert series.

Bon Jovi's Southern Maine fans can see the show at Westbrook's Prides Corner Drive-In.  Watch it on the big-screen, crank up the volume on your FM radio, and dance it out in the lot.

According to the Bon Jovi Facebook page, one ticket is good for 6 people per carload.

They also say in the post above that early bird tickets are $68. Those tickets are already sold out for the Pride's Corner show in Westbrook.  We clicked the link in the post below and the early birds are gone. The remaining tickets are $21 more at $89 per car.

Kudos to one of the biggest bands in rock music for putting this enormous undertaking together for their fans while we wait a little longer to gather for a concert again.

Two other locations presenting the new Bon Jovi live experience are the Bangor Drive-In and the Skowhegan Drive-In.

The concert starts on drive-in big screens everywhere on May 22, 2021, right after the sun goes down.
