Somebody Feed Maine: Phil Rosenthal Returns to Portland, Maine, for One-Night-Only Event
One of America's most beloved travelers is heading back to Maine later this year. But this time, he'll be hitting the stage.
Phil Rosenthal, from the hugely popular Netflix series Somebody Feed Phil, is ready to spend some quality time in our great state. The show's eighth season is set to premiere this month.
Netflix Star Phil Rosenthal Will Perform at Portland's Merrill Auditorium
Along with the new season comes news that Rosenthal will be hitting the road for a series of live shows across the country. And wouldn’t you know it—one of those shows will be right here in Maine, at Portland’s Merrill Auditorium, on Monday, September 9.
According to the event page, the show will feature a moderated conversation with Rosenthal that covers his entire career, from television writing to food travels, and everything in between. The event will even include an audience Q&A.
This is an excellent opportunity for any Rosenthal fan to get up close and personal with him, and to be entertained by his incredible experiences in the entertainment industry and around the world.
Phil Rosenthal Has a Fantastic History with Maine
Rosenthal is no stranger to our great state. He brought his hit television show to Maine a few years ago and featured many popular spots. The episode also included a visit to an incredible farm run by some of his extended family.
It's safe to say Rosenthal always has a great time in Maine. Not only does he have family here, but his trip for the show clearly left a lasting impression. In fact, when he sat down with Forbes to discuss that season, he mentioned that his favorite meal came from Maine—at Biddeford's famed Palace Diner. The tiny establishment, originally built in 1927, absolutely floored Phil. Here's what he had to say about the experience:
This is certainly a show no Rosenthal fan will want to miss, including yours truly, who has never missed an episode of Somebody Feed Phil. In fact, I think I’ve seen most of them twice… maybe even three times.
