According to NFL.com, New England Patriots' tight end, Rob Gronkowski has announced his retirement from the NFL via Instagram. Gronk was with the Patriots for nine years.

In his Instagram post Rob gave us the usual goodbye speech; thanking Pats owner Robert Kraft and Coach Belichek for the opportunity to play. Rob went on to thank the Pats Nation for all of the support through his years with New England and also his teammates.

Rob went on to say that he's. "uncertain of what's next". You just know that Mr. Party Pants is going to have THE craziest retirement party ever!

Don't worry about  our guy. Gronk is known for being responsible with his NFL earnings and doesn't need to work. I'll be happy to see him as the spokesperson for products now and then, but at 29 he's made great financial decisions. Over his career, Rob hasn't touched the NFL salary that he's earned. That's self control.

Rob Gronkowski goes out on the top coming off his latest Superbowl win, one of the five that he played in and winning four of them. Yes, gronk is a five time Pro Bowler and leaves with a career 70 touch downs.
