That's right Blimpville! Lead singer Jeff Keith, lead guitarist Frank Hannon, bassist Brian Wheat, drummer Troy Luccketta and guitarist Dave Rude doing hardcore rock-n-roll business as TESLA will return to Maine on Thursday April 18th. They last melted faces in the summer of 2013 at Asylum which is now of course, AURA and that's where these Sacramento legends will be this spring.

We have some many great memories with this band going all the way back to their first Portland appearance at the Cumberland County Civic Center opening for Def Leppard on the Hysteria tour in October of 1987 to the historic show with Motley Crue at the Ballpark in OOB in 1990.

Oh yeah, let's not forget the Psychotic Supper concert at the CCCC in '92. WBLM did a food drive that night for we think, Good Shepherd. If you brought a can of food, you got to meet Tesla. It was a huge success! We remember hundreds of Blimpsters participated and the band met each and every one of them with smiles. Hard workin',  hard rockin' great guys who love their fans and helping out in the cities they visit.

Let's celebrate the kick-ass news of TESLA coming back to Maine with this special performance of What You Give at Asylum a few years ago. Frank Hannon dedicates it to his father-in-law (who we think is a Maine guy) in the front row. So cool!
