The Before and After of My Farmer’s Market Finds! [RECIPE]

I am the biggest fan of our Wednesday Farmer's Market on Monument Square! Above is my "Before" picture of my treasures.

Those cute white pumpkins were a perfect painting project  for our half day of school. The girls got a little carried away with the paint! We were happy to learn that using our water based acrylic paint, we could wash the pumpkins off and paint them again. It also easily washes  off noses.

We sprinkled them with glitter while the paint was still wet, now we have the beginning of a festive tablescape!

I love zucchini, and with the abundance of it, I thought I would find a new recipe to share. Here it is! Zucchini Corn Pancakes from Damn Delicious. I added a cilantro lime crema that I made from low fat sour cream, fresh chopped cilantro, fresh lime juice and a dash of salt. I decorated it with flowers that are in the salad mix that I buy from the Farmers Market. Pretty and yummy!
