It's a truly historic day in Rock. Today marks the 37th Anniversary of Brian Johnson joining AC/DC as their new lead singer.  He replaced Bon Scott who had died just two months earlier in February of 1980.  The surviving members briefly thought about calling it quits. Ultimately, they decided to carry on because it's been said, that Bon would’ve wanted them to.   Brian Johnson’s style though different from Bon Scott, fit perfectly with AC/DC in 1980 and has for over 3 decades. His future with the band remains uncertain, as he was advised to stop performing live in early 2016 or face total hearing loss.  Axl Rose handled vocals for the remaining Rock or Bust dates.  Brian released a heartfelt statement regarding his departure. As recently as last fall, Brian Johnson provided guest vocals with Florida's, Greg Billing's Band on a song called "Old Friends Don't Come Easy".  Will he ever sing with AC/DC again? Never say never.
