Tonight’s WBLM Mini-Concert
33 years ago today Ozzy Osbourne kicked off his Bark at The Moon tour right here at the Cumberland County Civic Center! This was Portland's live introduction to Ozzy's new guitar player, Jake E. Lee. He joined in 1983 as the official replacement for Randy Rhodes (Brad Gillis of Night Ranger fame filled in until then on the Speak of the Devil Tour) and stayed with Ozzy through The Ultimate Sin. They parted ways in 1987 and Ozzy found Zakk Wylde, who ended up being his most enduring guitar player.
Opening the show, on their first US tour, was non-other-than Motley Crue! Tonight we’ll Shout at the Devil and Bark at the Moon with a live double-header: Ozzy and Motley Crue.
Join us at 6:20 in the Big Red Love Van for the WBLM Mini-Concert!
Check out both setlists! Ozzy was kind to the Crue allowing them a 12 song show.
