Tonight’s WBLM Mini-Concert

Happy 65th Birthday to Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford, born February 23, 1952  in Winchester, Massachusetts.  While Joe Perry may get the most attention for guitar playing in Aerosmith, let’s not forget that Brad plays the lead part on Back in the Saddle. He also co-wrote the smash Last Child as well as some of Aerosmith’s heaviest stuff , Nobody’s Fault and Round and Round. Yep, he’s a pretty significant badass axeman who's come up with some classic riffs. Brad Whitford has been in the band since he replaced original guitarist, Ray Tabano in 1971. Word is, 2017 will bring a final tour from Aerosmith starting in Europe that could last a few years going all over the planet. We count at least 22 shows in Maine from 1973 to 2003. How 'bout one last time in Blimpville? Fingers crossed!
