Blimp Time-Hop: Rush At The Civic Center In ’84

We've got a couple of Rush milestones to celebrate!

First...Happy Birthday to Neil Peart! He turns 67 this week, born on September 12, 1952.

His drumming is super technically proficient and his lyrics are super cerebral. That’s why we call him "The Professor".

Neil is the insanely talented drummer and songwriter for Rush!  He joined the band in 1974 and 10 years later, arrived with Rush in Portland, Maine for the second time.

Also...it was 35 years ago today, that Neil, Geddy, and Alex rocked the Civic Center on the Grace Under Pressure tour, September 14, 1984.
