Dark Mornings Cause Mainer Fashion Faux Pas, Does Less Light Affect You?
Going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark is the fate of many Mainers this time of year. It's starting to affect me. This morning I put my Alice Cooper tour t-shirt on backwards. However, I got so many compliments that I wore it like this for the rest of the day.
Short days lead to weird changes that reach beyond unmatched shoes. I keep waking up at night, but I want to fall asleep at seven p.m.. I also find myself drifting back off to a semi-dream like state while in the shower. This has actually made me late for work. I need to come up with a name for that. Any suggestions?
The shortest day of the year for 2019 will be Saturday, December 21st. It will clock in at a meager 8 hours 47 minutes 28 seconds. The longest day was Friday June 21st, it was a leisurely 15 hours 35 minutes 32 seconds. Aaah, good times.
Even my dog seems lethargic. How do the shorter days and little daylight affect you and your household? Comment on our Fan Page.
